Summer’s here and so is festival season—in other words, it’s time to rage! If you missed Part 1 of our “Summer 2019 Festival Hot List,” it’s best if ya brush up on that as there are still some festivals listed there that you have time to register for. But if you’re seeking some heavy-hitting experiences in August and onward, we’ve got you below:

1. Lollapalooza | Chicago, IL | Aug. 1-4

Website

2019 lineup: Childish Gambino, Ariana Grande, Twenty One Pilots, The Strokes, Tame Impala, Flume, The Chainsmokers, and J Balvin, among others.

There’s not much that need be said—it’s friggin’ Lollapalooza and there are some big-time names here. This isn’t exactly a festival you need to be “sold” on, is it?

2. Outside Lands | San Francisco, CA | Aug. 9-11

Website

2019 lineup: Paul Simon, Childish Gambino, Twenty One Pilots, The Lumineers, blink-182, Kygo, Anderson .Paak, Lil Wayne, Leon Bridges, and more.

Word to the wise—this isn’t really one to miss. Aside from the generally strong lineup, Paul Simon is coming out of retirement as a headliner. Even if you’re not into his music, it’s a special opportunity that’s further strengthened by the quality of the overall lineup.

3. Woodstock 50 | Undetermined | Aug. 16-18

Website

The headliners: Miley Cyrus, JAY-Z, Chance the Rapper, The Black Keys, Imagine Dragons, The Raconteurs, Santana, Cage the Elephant, The Killers, Halsey, The Lumineers, Dead & Company, and Janelle Monáe.

It’s the 50th anniversary of Woodstock, the most legendary of all festivals. Normally we'd leave it at that but, as it turns out, their venue, Watkins Glen International, pulled out yesterday. The celebration is still scheduled to take place Aug. 16 and the headliners are, at the moment, still attached, but perhaps proceed with caution until things get ironed out.

4. Electric Zoo | Randall’s Island, NYC | Aug. 30 - Sept. 1

Website

2019 lineup: Diplo, Afrojack, Ben Bohmer, Mastadon, Zedd, Alison Wonderland, Dogblood (Skrillex/Boys Noize), Flux Pavilion, Above & Beyond, Armin van Buuren, Kaskade, Eric Prydz, and many more.

Brought to you by the minds behind Tomorrowland, Sensation, and Mysteryland, Electric Zoo transforms Randall’s Island Park into a euphoric dance scene every year. For 2019, the festival is officially dubbed, “Electric Zoo: Evolved,” and represents the progression of the event’s wildlife branding. Four stages of global talent hosted over Labor Day Weekend—what’s not to love?

5. Groove Island | Catalina Island, CA | Sept. 27 – 30

Website

2019 lineup: Andrew Rayel, Chus & Ceballos, Mark Knight, Oliver Heldens, Sam Feldt, Shiba San, Anthony Attalla, Dillon Nathaniel, Leftwing, Kody, Mikey Lion, Secondcity, Sage Armstrong, and more.

We’ve enjoyed an awesome relationship with the Groove Cruise squad—acting as their sunglasses partner in previous Groove Cruise events—and now that same talented team is taking their dance music festival expertise to Catalina Island with “Groove Island.” The weekend-long party in paradise offers yacht, ferry, and helicopter packages, with accommodation on tap via the campground and a wide swathe of the local hotels and AirBNBs, all managed by the festival promoters. It looks to be a one-of-a-kind event, so don’t miss out!
