This is my first season wearing a helmet and I’m so thankful I was wearing my blenders helmet last weekend! Got in a freak accident, where I hit a patch of ice on a wide groomed blue and got thrown into the trees. As I was tumbling I know my head hit at least two trees leaving some significant dents in my helmet. I walked away with barely even a headache. The MIPS and other protection probably saved my life and my brain from at least a serious concussion or worse. I’m very sore, but so thankful to my blenders helmet for allowing me to snuggle my babies this week.
