Blenders Shreds Mammoth Mountain

Blenders Shreds Mammoth Mountain

Back to Articles

C’mon, did you really think we were gonna let February pass without shredding the slopes?

Blenders bossman supreme, Chase Fisher, “called in sick” earlier this month and headed up to Mammoth Mountain with his squad—because even a company founder has to play hooky from time to time when there’s fresh powder to be had.

For those unfamiliar, Mammoth Mountain in Mammoth Lakes, California is nestled within the Long Valley Caldera on the Sierra Nevada mountain range’s east side. It boasts a vertical of 3,100 feet and a top elevation of just over 11,000, good for 3,500 acres of skiable area and a grand total of 150 runs. And with 35-percent of those classified as “advanced,” there are some seriously challenging chutes to revel in.

Chase and all of us at Blenders adore Mammoth Mountain. And while we’d say the head honcho was taking off work for a little rest and relaxation, as you can tell from the photos and the video below, there wasn’t much rest going on. He and his crew made the most of it, staying in forward motion the whole time—because when this company’s slogan is a part of your DNA, there’s just no other way to live.

If you’re looking for some wicked gear before hitting the slopes yourself, you know what to do. In the interim, enjoy the rest of the photos!
