MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) is a high-tech Brain Protection System (BPS) designed with your noggin’s best interests in mind. Since our brains are super sensitive to rotational forces—which are common in angled impacts on the mountain—MIPS works to reduce rotational motion, mitigating the likelihood of concussions.
Passive ventilation consistently maximizes airflow via non-adjustable helmet openings that release heat and humidity.
Revolutionary FIDLOCK buckles adorn each of our ‘Chip’ helmets. The hybrid fasteners feature the best of magnetic tech with mechanical locks; they can be opened in a quick release with only one hand, yet snap securely shut with an audible click thanks to the mechanical engagement. Smart and safe!
